Making A Purchase:

We accept most credit & debit card payments; except Paypal or AMEX.  All personal information is covered by our data protection policy in line with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

All orders must be paid in full before delivery of the goods. In cases where the delivery is passed onto a third party or is being delivered directly from the manufacturer, the payment will be requested in full prior to delivery. Please do not e-mail credit card information.

Deliveries:  Our local delivery area is South Yorkshire and North East Derbyshire.  However customers can arrange collection with their own couriers at their own expense.  Some of our suppliers may be able to send our goods directly to the customer, but this action will usually incur a fee.  Usually all items will be delivered on the same load.  If a customer prefers more than one delivery date for separate items then a delivery fee will be charged for each delivery.

Furniture:  Due to the nature of the product we cannot guarantee colours and wood shades unless a sample has been requested.  We do not accept furniture returns unless an item is damaged.  In case of a piece of furniture being damaged we will arrange an exchange.

Basis of Sale:  No contract exists between the Buyer and the Seller for the sale until the Seller has received, processed, confirmed the order and the seller has received payment in full.  Once the seller does so, there is a legal binding Contract between the Buyer and Seller.

Once the goods are on their way, the order cannot be cancelled.  'See cancelling an order'.

Any item that is not a specified product in the product description, that appears in any photograph, illustration or brochure will not form part of this Contract i.e. lamps, rugs, cushions, bedcovers, ornaments and in certain instances headboards, (unless mentioned in the product description) are not included in the sale.

ETA (Estimated time of Arrival)

We will give approximate delivery times (ETA) for the delivery of goods at the point of sale. However, occasionally an order may be delayed due to reasons beyond our control. In this situation the customer can either wait for the goods to be delivered, choose an alternative product or obtain a full refund which will be processed within 10 working days.

Guarantee:   Most of our products come with at least a One Year manufacturers guarantee, although each manufacturer may offer different levels of guarantee and warranty depending on product.

Fit for Purpose

All our products are deemed fit for purpose and have been quality controlled in the factory.

Bases Their purpose is to be matched with a reasonable depth of mattress (usually a sprung mattress 7" or more in depth) and NOT used as a standing platform, or for bouncing/jumping on even with a mattress in place.  The purpose is only for sleeping on.

Mattresses These are not to be bent in half or bent around corners for access.  This can dislodge any type of spring system and cause a problem with the mattress.  Even all foam mattresses should be kept straight when moving into its final position.  Rolled up mattresses must be given the required time specified or overnight before being used.

A Warranty  An extended reassurance that if the product has a manufacturing fault within the set warranty period the manufacturer will exchange or fix the item in question. Please note that in the case of a warranty, any replacement is not done free of charge and that warranties from mattress manufacturers work on a sliding scale depending on how long you have had the mattress.  Guarantees and warranties only cover defects in material and workmanship and not normal wear and tear.

Should a mattress become faulty within the guarantee period, and an exact replacement is no longer available a credit for the remaining period of warranty will be offered to spend on a new product exchange in store of up to the original value (no money will be returned to the customer, should they choose a cheaper model).

Should the customer decide to go elsewhere (another shop), then no compensation will be applied.

Why Stains Void Warranties
  • Hygiene and Safety: Manufacturers will not inspect or repair a mattress that has bodily fluids (sweat, urine), blood, or other liquids on it.
  • Proof of Neglect: A stain is often interpreted as improper care or misuse of the product.
  • Contamination: Liquids can seep into the mattress, causing foam to break down, springs to rust, or mold to grow, which is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Exceptions and Nuances
  • Minor Sweat Stains: Some companies might accept minor, general discoloration from body oils, but anything resembling a distinct spill or, particularly, urine, will be rejected.
  • Proving a Cleaner worked: In some instances, if you can clean the stain completely, the warranty might be reinstated, but this is rare.
  • The "Clean Beforehand" Rule: If you are trying to claim a warranty, you must typically have a clean mattress, even if the issue (like sagging) is entirely unrelated to the stain.

What to Do
If your mattress is stained but has a legitimate defect (like broken coils), you should:
  1. Read your warranty terms: Check for clauses regarding "soiled," "stained," or "unsanitary" conditions.
  2. Attempt Professional Cleaning: If the issue is serious, it may be worth paying for professional cleaning to remove the stain before filing a claim.
  3. Use a Protector in Future: Using a waterproof mattress protector is the best way to keep a new mattress covered by a warranty.

Available Delivery Days:   Delivery Day is normally SATURDAY.  Any alternative day may be requested, but may not be an option.

Confirmation of your delivery date:  Contact will be made once the goods are available for delivery by us or distribution by a courier service.

Shipping and handling : We do not deliver to Northern Ireland, Ireland, the Channel Islands, Scotland, Isle of Lewis, Isle of Skye, Shetlands, Outer Hebrides, Orkney Islands. There are also some very hard to reach areas in England where we may not be able to deliver .  This does not stop the customer arranging there own transport, and insurance.  Once the product has left our premises, the liability is passed to the customer's own transport team.  We may be able to send some products by the factories/suppliers own vehicles but this will come at extra cost.

Generally where an order contains more than one item, all items will be delivered at the same time.  If a requirement is for some items to be delivered on a separate day, then a further delivery fee will be applied.

Most products are normally delivered by one man to the customers front door (our contractors can only delivery to ground floor level unless pre-arranged when the item is purchased) therefore the customer needs to make suitable arrangements to move the items to their required location.  Furniture and extra large beds and mattresses may require a two-man delivery, may charged at a slightly higher rate.  Should you reside inside the Clean Air Zone, a further £10 will be added to the delivery charge.  Arrangements can be made to deliver the product to a room of choice and errect/assemble but his must be sorted when a confirmaiton date is arranged and will normally incur an extra charge.

Should Beds for Everyone agree to help deliver the products to a room of your choice, all areas, ornaments, pictures etc., must be cleared away in order for us to assist you.  Beds for Everyone (Sheffield) Ltd is not liable for any damages either to the delivered product or to the customers property, whilst assisting the customer with such a request.  Due to health & safety, delivery persons may not be able to remove their shoes when entering your premises.  In this case please make sure you have protected areas prior to the delivery.

All bed frames and bunk beds come flat packed and require a two person assembling by the customer.  Sofa beds come boxed and may need the legs attaching prior to use.

Check thoroughly the packaging of your delivered item before accepting it.  Should the packaging be torn or wet, please ask the driver to note this immediately.  Please also notify us and we will decide whether you should accept the goods.  Please notify us in writing within 3 days of any damages found once unwrapped.  A photograph(s) of any damage may be required.

Where a delivery/collection date has been agreed with the carrier and the buyer, and the buyer is not present, the seller reserves the right to charge the buyer £30 to cover the cost of the failed delivery/collection.

To return a non-faulty product / Change of mind:

  • We can only accept unused items in pristine condition.
  • We are unable to accept returns of goods that have been made to order e.g. furniture or special size mattresses etc unless faulty.
  • The product must be unused.
  • The product must be still in, and well secured in the original packaging.
  • The buyer will be responsible for the cost of return, including insurance protection.
  • The buyer must inform Beds for Everyone of their wish to return the product within 3 calendar days and must arrange for the items return to us within 30 days.
  • We will always try to be as fair as possible, if a customer is not completely happy with a product, but due to the nature of the products we sell (eg Mattresses) we are unable to offer any financial compensation.  This is because we cannot re-sell a used mattress product and we will have the cost of an arranged disposal of the returned item.
  • We are not licensed to re-sell used products, particularly mattresses that have been opened and used, even for a very short period of time.
  • We do not sell products on a trial basis.

  • We also reserve the right to charge 20 per cent should the goods have already been specially made to order ready for delivery.

Delivery Schedule :  Although we have a great number of products in stock, some items need to be ordered. The delivery time varies depending on the product. Each product is given an approximate delivery lead time. If for any reason you cannot see the delivery lead time please contact us on 01142649813.  Many metal and wooden bed frames are imported, and although we specify a delivery lead time, sometimes we have to wait for items to enter the UK and clear customs. This can possibly lead to delays in the product reaching us.  We will email or telephone you to let you know if your product is temporarily out of stock.

Risk and title (Ownership):  Risk of damage or loss of the products shall pass to the buyer upon delivery.  The products shall not pass title to the buyer until the seller has received in cash or cleared funds payment in full for all the Products which become due to the seller from the buyer on any account.
