Shipping And Handling
Beds for Everyone deliver all items ordered on the internet FREE within South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and within a reasonable distance of the M1 Motorway. All other areas may have a delivery charge ranging from £4.50 - £25 for beds and larger items such as Furniture and very heavy items may cost £35 depending on the postcode and may also take longer to arrange shipping. Some furniture is made to order and may take up to 6 weeks. Please enquire if you need to know a more accurate timescale for a delivery to a postcode or area.
Delivery lead times shown are working days only (5 days a week - Monday to Friday and at times between 9am and 7pm). However, we may occassionally deliver on a Saturday by prior arrangment or if you live within a 10 mile radius of our warehouse in Sheffield. Please be aware that these are Supplier lead times only and imported goods may exceed these lead times if the central distribution centre has run out of stock. We should however, be able to give you an idea of when the next shipment is due into the central distribution centre but cannot guarantee an exact date. We do NOT deliver to:
Northern Ireland, Ireland, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Lewis, Isle of Skye, Scotland, Shetlands, Outer Hebrides, Orkney Islands.
If you get a message saying that we do not deliver to your area. Please telephone us on 01142649813 to find out if we can accommodate you.
All items are delivered over the threshold of the customers premises (our contractors can only delivery to ground floor level unless pre-arranged with the customer when the item is purchased) therefore the customer needs to be present and to have made suitable arrangements to move the items to their required location.
Please inspect the packaging on all items delivered before signing for them. Should the packaging be damaged please ask the driver to report it and also inform Beds for Everyone before accepting the delivery.
Contracted deliveries will not set up your item; all bedsteads are packed flat and requires a 2 person assembly.
Please note where a delivery/collection date has been agreed with the carrier and the buyer, and the buyer is not present, the seller reserves the right to charge the buyer a minimum of £10 to cover the cost of the failed delivery/ collection.
Usually a morning or afternoon delivery will be arranged, but times may vary depending on any traffic delays.
